Parents,

Attached in this email are your practice times for the 2015 swim season.  You will see two attachments.  The "School" schedule is for the practice times while the kids are still in school and the "Summer" schedule is for when the kids break for summer.  These list all swimmers in alphabetical order by last name.  

EVALUATIONS

Reminder that evaluations will be held on Monday, April 20th.  This is for new swimmers only.  Time slots for evaluations were sent out earlier this week.  If you did not receive it please let us know. The first official day of practice for everyone will be Saturday April 25th.

TEAM SWIM SUITS

The last day to be fitted for a team swim suit is Monday, April 20th.  If you have not been fitted and you are not using last years team suit then you must show up between 4-7pm at the south amenity center on April 20th. If you cannot be there on April 20th please email me and we can arrange to be fitted prior to this date.

PROPER PRACTICE ATTIRE

Each child is expected to practice in a racing style swim suit.  For girls please wear a one piece suit without frills and ruffles in the like.  For boys please wear jammer (spandex type) shorts.  No beach style surf shorts.  ALL swimmers will be expected to wear a swim cap during practice.  We hope to have the team caps delivered by the first practice but it never hurts to have a fun back up cap for practice.  All swimmers will be encouraged to wear goggles.  Please make sure these are swim racing style goggles.  It is recommended that you have a back up pair on hand or an extra pair of goggle straps as they tend to break at the most inopportune time. Last but not least.....Sun Screen, Sun Screen and more Sun Screen!

PARENT MEETING

We will have our beginning of the year parent meetings on Saturday, April 25th during practice at the south amenity center.  We will host three parent meetings in conjunction with your child's practice time (ie-if your child's practice time is 8:00-9:00am, then this is when your parent meeting will take place).  We will cover parent expectations, volunteer information, meet information, and Champs information so please try to have at least one parent attend.

TEXTING NOTIFICATION SIGN UP

Please go on to the team website and sign up for texting notification.  The link to do this can be found in the"Links" section of the team homepage in the upper left hand corner.  Click on the "Sign up for text notification" link and follow the instructions to get signed up. This will be the primary way of communicating last minute changes for practices and meets due to weather.

The season is only 10 days away from starting.  We look forward to seeing you on the pool deck!
