Parents,

We have fielded a lot of questions on DQs from the meet last Saturday.  Everybody stay calm.....we have some answers

Attached you will find the results with the DQ code for that race so that you can start to understand why a swimmer was disqualified.  If you have a question about the codes and what they mean you can ask coach to explain it so that you can help your swimmer understand the proper technique. We've also attached a "Stroke Rules" document for those of you parents who would like to know more about the proper stroke technique.  Please remember that this is for positive reinforcement and is a teaching opportunity for us to improve your swimmer's abilities. For the relays this is a great opportunity to preach the team concept!  The coaches will be working with the kids on fixing these infractions. Thanks for all of your questions.  It's great to have parents who care so much!
