Parents,

Attached are the Individual and Team results from yesterday's meet. These will also be posted on the "Meets" section of the website. We can't tell you how proud we are of all the swimmers for the large amount of growth they've made in a very short period of time. 

At Wednesday's practice we will have the ribbons tub so that kids can pick up their awards/ribbons from this meet.  If you go to the tubs you will see all swimmers folders sorted alphabetically.  Find your swimmer's folder and grab their ribbons and share their success with them. Stress the importance of personal gains with your kids! Your children will receive ribbons if:

1. The finished in the top 6 overall in an event (Top 6 finishers score points for the team score)
2. If your swimmer sets a personal best time in a stroke they will receive a PR (Personal Record) ribbon (FYI-These are the ones they like the most!)

On a side note we received a lot of interest from the email about 1on1 instruction from one of our coaches.  Due to the high demand, Coach Matej will be also be offering 1on1 instruction for swimmers who are interested as well.  He lives in Durbin and may be able to coordinate times that Coach Lee cannot.  Coach Matej is too humble and a quiet giant so I'm going to BRAG on his behalf.  Here are Coach Matej's credentials/accomplishments as a swimmer:

• NCAA Division II National Championship Runner-Up in 200 Butterfly
• 12 time All American
• 5 Time National Swimmer of the Week
• NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Recipient
