Here are some of the logistics for the swim meet this weekend.  If I miss anything, please do not hesitate to let me know.

COMBINE HEATS (Highlighted in yellow on the heat sheets):

 

Timeline:

6:30am – Swimmer Check In

6:45am to 7:15am -  DCD warm up

7:15am to 7:45am – SJS Warm up

8:00am – Meet Starts

 

VOLUNTEER ANNOUNCMENTS:

We will have volunteer meetings at the following times:

7:30am – Stroke and Turn Judges Meeting (Run by Stephanie McLeod at North end of pool)

7:30am – Ready Bench Volunteer Meeting (Run by Terry Davis at Ready Benches)

7:45am – Timers Meeting (Run by Terry Davis at North end of Pool behind the computer table)

• If you are on the set up crew please meet at the pool Friday night at 9pm
• If you are a parking attendant please be at the pool by 6:20am

 

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

It is very important that all of the kids wear the tattoos this weekend and we even encourage parents to wear them Saturday as well.  Here's why......The initials “HL” and “SD” on these tattoos stand for Hank Langenfelder and Shawn Delifus.  Both gentlemen passed away in the last 6 months.  Hank was the president of the St Johns Stingrays and one of the founding fathers of the league.  The Head coach of the St Johns Stingrays, Coach Eric, was very close friends and Coached with Shawn Delifus over at the Loggerheads Aquatics year round swim team.  Please help us show our respects and make sure we wear those tattoos loud and proud Saturday.  It will mean a lot to many of families from St Johns.

 

P.S. - Please don't forget to preorder your Champs t-shirt.  You can turn in the order form and money to Terry Davis at the meet Saturday.  Please make checks payable to DC Dolphins.  The deadline to turn in orders and money is Weds June 30th.  The order form is attached.
