Parents,

Attached are the results from yesterday.  Great job on another team win.  We only have one meet left before Champs.  Over the next two weeks, you will receive a lot of emails from us as we ramp up for champs so please make sure you are checking your emails regularly.  Please see the important announcements below.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Please make sure you have gone in and RSVPd for champs.  The deadline to do so is this Friday!  If you're child is age 8 and Under please RSVP for Friday night.  If your child is age 9 and Up please RSVP your child for Saturday.
• This year our team is in charge of concessions at Champs.  This is a big undertaking and we will need all hands on deck.  We need EVERYBODY to chip in and this will be successfull.  We will need to have 8-10 people staffing the concession stand at all time for both days.  We have two dads that are going to smoke some Pork butts on their eggs so we can sell BBQ Pulled pork sandwiches.  We will need 2-3 people serving, 2-3 people prepping food, and 2-3 people grilling hamburgers and hot dogs.  Ideally if you're kid swims Saturday it would be of great help if you helped out Friday night and vice a versa.  We will be sending out a sign up genius later this week for shifts during champs.  Please help out for 1-2hrs and it will be easy for everyone.
• Later tonight you will be receiving an email for pizza pre orders for Friday night of Champs.  Your order sheet and money can be turned into Dawn Beeson, Meredith Connell, or Heather West this week at practice.
• Lastly, we know it is the end of the season and everybody has pretty much satisfied their 4 volunteer requirements but we still have a few volunteer spots that need to be filled for our last meet and also champs.  Please everyone go in and take a look and see where you can help out so that the same people aren't always doing the work.  We need everyone to chip in for this to be a good exerience for all!

Lastly, this is the time of the year that we start putting together the Board for next season.  Some of you have expressed an interest in getting involved.  If you are interested in serving on the board of the swim team please reply to this email.  If you are unsure but curious, we have a board meeting tomorrow at 6:30pm at the south pool.  Board meetings are always open to parents.  This would be a great opportunity to see what we do and how we work.  We'd love to see some new parents stepping up to get involved.
