Parents,

We've had a lot of interest this year from parents who are interested in being a part of the Board for next season.  We do have a formal process that we follow to nominate the board for each year. We must receive a formal email (you can respond to this email) and then the current board will vote at the next board meeting on who will be next year's board of directors.

If you want to be considered for the board in 2017, reply to this email nominating yourself or another person for the board and please include what position you are making your nomination for.  The positions that you can be nominated for going into 2017 are:

1) President

2) Vice President - (This is a two year commitment with the understanding that you will become president in year 2)

3) Secretary

4) Member at Large

5) Member at Large

The Treasurer is a two year term and will be up for re-election at the conclusion of the 2017 season.  Thus, Dawn Beeson will remain our treasurer next season.

THE DEADLINE TO RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL WITH A NOMINATION IS SUNDAY AUGUST 7th!

We will announce shortly when our last board meeting of the year will be and we will vote on those nominated candidates at this meeting.  If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
