Parents,

You will be receiving an invite today to join the GoSwim website.  This is a website that coach Ed will be using for the the kids to send short training videos on different drills he will be incorporating throughout the season.  You have the option of signing up for a free membership or if you'd like to have more access to other videos, then you are more than welcome to sign up for a membership and pay a fee.  I want to emphasize that if you sign up for the free membership you will still be able to see Coach Ed's lessons of the day.  

In addition, Coach Ed will be able to take video of your kid swimming and email it directly to you so that they can see themselves swim and analyze their technique. 

This is a teaching tool that we are incorporating this year to help the kids learn by watching videos.  The goal is to have your kid log into the website every day and watch the short 2-3 minute lesson of the day.  Please take advantage of this for your kids.  Let me know if you have any questions!

What to do when you receive the email:

1) Please accept the Invite

2) Create a username and Password (Use your Date of birth - Not the kid's date of birth!)

3) Once logged in, Click on the "Durbin Crossing Dolphins Swim Team" tab and go in to watch the videos.  The website also loads a "free" lesson of the day.  Once we get everyone signed up, Coach Ed will be loading videos that are pertinent to what the kids are working on that particular week.
