Mock Meet Information - PLEASE READ
Parents,
I know it’s hard to believe but the mock meet is tomorrow. This email will help you with what to expect and what you do when you arrive at the pool tomorrow. Please do your best to be there by 4:30pm tomorrow.
WHAT DO I BRING

- Heat Sheets/Entry List – Print off a copy of the Heat Sheets and Entry List
- Pop Up Tent – You will set up a tent in the field behind the pool. Please do not enter through the front entrance of the pool. When you arrive, you will go directly to the field and set up your tent
- Chairs – You’ll need chairs to sit in
- Food/Beverage – If you did not order chick fil a then you will want to pack some dinner for our family. We will have pre ordered chick fil sandwiches delivered during the meet. We will also have the Hawaiian Shaved Ice truck there
- Swimmer equipment – Swimmers will wear their team suits and orange team caps. Swimmers are encouraged to wear their team t-shirts as well. Bring an extra pair of goggles just in case.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE
- Set up tent in field (tent city)
- Report to “Swimmer Check In Table” between (4:30-4:45pm) - This will be at the tent next to the bike rack by the back field gate entrance to the pool
- If you are Volunteering then check in for your Volunteer job - Same location as swimmer check in
- Make sure your swimmer reports to warm ups (4:45-5:15pm) - We will make an announcment
- Make sure your swimmer listens to the announcement for “Ready Bench.” This is the staging area for the swimmers before their race. (i.e. – All swimmers in Events 1-5 report to the ready bench)
- Lastly, Enjoy watching your kids swim their races
- NO TENTS OR CHAIRS ARE ALLOWED ON THE POOL DECK. POOL DECK WILL BE FOR VIEWING RACES ONLY!!
TIMELINE
- 4:15 to 4:30 - Arrive at the pool
- 4:30 to 4:45 - Swimmer Check In (Please arrive on time. If you will be late please let us know)
- 4:45 to 5:15 - Swimmer Warm Ups (6&unders and 7-8 yr olds warm up first)
- 5:30 - Meet Starts
WHAT TO WRITE ON YOUR SWIMMER
Please read the attached document titled “What to write on your swimmer.” We ask that you take a sharpie and write the following information on your swimmer’s shoulder blade:
- Last Name, First Initial (i.e. – Davis, T)
- Race Information (Event #, Heat #, Lane #, Stroke)
If you are unsure what to write, don’t worry our volunteers at the check in table will help you do this at check in
PARKING
Parking is very scarce. If you can walk to the pool please do so. We do have some strict parking rules for meets. We are not allowed to park in the Circle drive. We are also not allowed to park in the front row where the basketball courts are at. Your best place to park is along the field next the field on the field side of Islebrook. Please see diagram for pool and parking set up.
SET UP CREW
If you are on the set up crew, please be there no later than 3:30. Thanks!
