Parents,

Attached in this email is a lot very important information relating to CHAMPS. Please make sure you read the Parent Informational Champs Letter as it will have all pertinent info for this weekend.  

For those of you who are swimming on Friday night, you will need to be a Cecil Aquatic Center by 4:30pm for check in which means you will be crossing the Buchman Bridge during rush hour.  Please give yourself ample time to get across town. You do not need to bring your own tents.  We will have a designated team area with a giant tent so all you need to bring is your chairs.  See the tent city layout in the parent informational champs letter.

The rules for champs allow for a kid to swim in a maximum of 3 individual races and 2 relays.  Thus, the max races a kid can swim at Champs is 5 races.  Each team is only allowed to enter one relay team per relay event.  If you are listed as the (5) or (6) swimmer in a relay that means you are the alternate just in case one of the first fours swimmers cannot swim. We did our best to get as many kids as we could in atleast 3 races but there will be quite a few of you with only 2 races (mostly the younger swimmers)

PRACTICE REMINDER FOR THIS WEEK

• Thursday - All Practices as Normal Except 6 & Unders
  • All 6 & Unders will practice as one group at 9:30am - see announcement below
• Friday - Only 9 & Ups Practice (Those in relays are highly encouraged to be at this practice) 
  • 9-10yr olds -  Practice from 8-9am
  • 11 & Up - Practice from 9-10

 

ALL 6 & UNDERS - SPECIAL ANNOUNCMENT

​For Thursday's practice please have your swimmer bring the following to practice:

• Each child should bring 8 quarters for games on Thursday
• We will have one practice time on Thursday for all 6&unders starting at 9:30am

 

​END OF THE YEAR PARTY

The end of the year banquet will be Monday night.  If you have not RSVPd for that yet, please do so ASAP so we know how many to plan for.  Look for a separate email regarding the RSVP link and info relating to the banquet
