Hi Dolphin Families!

Great news! We will be having a Champs meet this year!!! This will be a chance for our swimmers to compete in person for the final championships. We were hoping to be able to utilize the new pool at Planet Swim this year, but it did not work out. No worries, back to Cecil Aquatics Center we go.

Here are some things to know:

• The day will be split into 2 meets. Swimmers 11 and up will swim at 8am, with an arrival time of 6:30am. 10 and under will swim at 12pm, with an arrival time of 10:45am.
• Cecil Aquatics Center is almost an hour away. You will really need to plan your day accordingly, so your swimmer is not late. (Cecil Aquatics Center, 13611 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221)
• For your swimmer to be eligible to swim at champs, they need to have participated in the Mock meet and one additional meet, OR 2 normal meets. There is still our last home meet on July 10^th that is used to help calculate this.
• Your swimmer is not required to participate in champs. All 9 teams will be participating, and it can be a little hectic. Don’t let that scare you, if you have questions, please let a board member know. We will also send out a LOT more information the week before.
• If you do have a swimmer participating, you or a family member must fill a volunteer spot this day. It requires people from every team to make this day work. Job Times online may vary depending on how fast or slow the meet is moving.
• Go ahead and RSVP now for the July 10^th home meet and July 17^th Champs now! Simply go to our website. Log into your account. Click on the Calendar tab. Click on Meet Entry to enter your swimmer’s status. Click on Job Signup to choose a volunteer job. (See the image below)
