Dear Swim Team Families,

We know you are wondering what is going to happen with the summer swim team season. We are wondering that too. This is such uncharted waters for all of us. We hope that we will be able to have some kind of season even if it is modified and delayed. Our kids need something to look forward to, and frankly so do we as parents. We also know this time of quarantine may be much longer than we could have imagined. For now, here are some things we do know:

1. We hope you are all staying safe. Let’s do our part to not spread this virus.

2.  William’s Athletics is extending the swim suit early bird special until Sat. March 28^th. Here is a message from their owner John:

• In light of current circumstances, we will be extending the Early Bird purchasing until Saturday, March 28th for all teams ordering with us. Hopefully this will allow all families the opportunity to fit/order as they can. We are currently having many to fit and order however there are probably many others that are not due to their personal concerns. Maybe this additional time will give them the opportunity to take advantage of the savings.
• We are still OPEN and doing business as of today. We are wiping down all surfaces, including our credit card machines, store laptops and keyboards, spraying Lysol on suits and in the air, washing our hands routinely and cleaning door handles throughout the store AFTER every customer enters and leaves. We are also allowing only 1 family at a time into the ordering/fitting area to accommodate Social Distancing. Essentially taking every precaution we can to make everyone feel as safe as possible.
• We, as every other business in Florida, is at the discretion of governmental regulations - we will remain open as long as allowed.
• Also, for those of you ordering Fins at the special pricing, the first round of orders will be done after all Early Bird ordering has closed out
• Lastly, as we are a small, local business, once we take the payment, the family has purchased the suit - as in years past, there are no refunds whatsoever, except for garment defect. We presume the season will progress, potentially delayed, but we cannot control any of this at this time. We are fitting and ordering in good faith based on this situation. 

3.  If your family would like to withdrawal from the team now, we will happily send you a registration refund. If so, please email Kim Smith, President, and Steven Moore, Treasurer, and we will get that processed through WePay. ( [email protected] [email protected] )

4.  Until we have more concrete information, we will still plan to have some kind of swim season. IF the season gets canceled we will either refund you the registration money or we can save your registration money and your swimmer spot for the team next summer. There is no rush to make any decisions at this time. We are just trying to be as transparent as we can.
