Good evening parents,

Attached are the results from Saturday's swim meet. What a morning! The weather cleared, the swimmers swam great & exhibited great sportsmanship and we managed to complete the entire meet within our required time limitation agreement with our CDD. It was definitely a good day to be a Durbin Dolphin! 

Lost & Found / Missing Items

Please take a minute this week to inventory your swim team equipment and make sure that everything you have is yours. We have had a few sets of fins go home with the wrong swimmers and our lost and found box is filling up with misplaced items. Please also label team shirts, towels, water bottles, etc to make it easier to get things to their owners.

Marking Arms at Meets

We discovered this weekend that many swimmers don't understand what is being written on their arms for swim meets. It is helpful to the volunteers at the ready bench if you can explain to your swimmers what it means. I have attached a picture that should help. If you still don't understand it well enough to explain it to your swimmer, please don't hesitate to ask a board member or other swim family to help explain it! We are all happy to help!

Team Photos Now On Sale

If you would like to purchase a team photo to commemorate the season, they are on sale now! We have the full team as well as age groups available in 8x10 format for $5 each. Make sure you sign up here to place your order by Saturday, June 15th! Payment via cash or check will be due when the photos are distributed. No extras will be ordered so make sure you order before Saturday!

Champs RSVP Now Open

Now that we are a few weeks into the season and have completed more than 3 meets, the window for RSVPing for Champs is open! If your swimmer has completed at least 3 meets you can RSVP now. If they have not done that yet, you will have to wait until they have done 3 meets to RSVP. Champs (Saturday, July 13) is a great end-of-season meet where we really get to see what amazing progress our swimmers have made this season! We hope to have lots of Dolpins on deck for that meet.
