    Mock Meet is Coming Up ... And Other Important Announcements

    Good morning parents!
    We had a great first week of practice and are looking forward to some amazing swimming from our kids this summer! This email has a LOT of information in it, including some very important deadlines so please read it closely and let me know if you have any questions!

    Mock Meet - Monday, May 13

    The Mock Meet is on Monday, May 13. You must RSVP on the web site in order for your child to swim in the meet! Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, May 8th! 

    A few details about the meet so you can update your calendar and plan accordingly:

    • Check-in for the mock meet begins at 4:15 pm.
    • Warm-ups begin at 4:45 pm.
    • Meet starts at 5:30 pm.
    • We know several grades have FSA testing the next day so we will do our very best to wrap the meet up around 8:00 pm.
    • We will *not* run a concession stand or do pre-order food for pick up at the meet. JoyShtick food truck will be on site selling their delicious food. Other than that option, please bring your own drinks, snacks, and dinner as needed for your family.

    While you are RSVPing for the Mock Meet, take an extra minute and RSVP for the May 18th meet, as the deadline for that meet is this Friday!

    Volunteer Jobs

    We have had several parents ask about seeing everything they volunteered for during the season. It's easy to see this! Make sure you are logged into the web site first. In the upper right-hand corner where it says Welcome, click on the drop-down menu and select "My Account." There you will see your family members as well as your job sign-ups. If you need to make any changes to your jobs, you can do that by going to the calendar item and changing it on the meet itself. 

    Spirit Wear & Team Swim Suits

    If you ordered a team suit before the March 30th deadline, it is ready for pick up at Williams Athletics, along with any spirit wear that you ordered. If you ordered a suit after March 30 but before April 21, your suits will be ready for pick up next week. I will email with an exact date when we have it. If you have not yet ordered a team suit and would like to, the absolute very last day to do that is May 9th! Suits ordered this week will be ready May 25th.

    If you missed the first round of spirit wear and would like to order items, we will be re-opening the store with limited items from May 14 - 20th. Items will be in at the beginning of June with plenty of time to wear them during the season! 

    Parent Donations Requested

    As was mentioned in most of the parent meetings, we are asking parents to donate one of the following items, based on the first initial of your last name. You can bring these items to any practice and give it to a board member for storage. We appreciate your assistance in supplying these items. 

    • A - D: Bag of Tootsie Pops (Can be regular size or mini. WalMart currently has a bag of 300 minis in the candy aisle for $7!)
    • E - K: Box or Bag of Ice Pops (Please bring unfrozen. We will freeze as needed for Monday Popsicle Practices)
    • L - R: Case of Gatorade (variety flavor pack)
    • S - W: Case of Water

    Spirit Night @ Taps - Monday, May 20

    Dinner is done on Monday, May 20th! Stop by Taps for dinner or take-out between 5:30 - 8:30 pm and 10% of the proceeds will go back to the team! Make sure to wear your Dolphins gear and thank them for supporting our team!
