Good morning parents!

In just a little less than a week we will be kicking off our season with new swimmer evaluations and we couldn't be more excited to see all our new swimmers kicking their way across the pool! 

This email contains several important pieces of information about the season so please read it carefully!

New Swimmer Evaluations

If you are new to the Durbin Dolphins this year, your swimmer(s) must come to a swim evaluation on Thursday, April 25th. If you have multiple age groups in your family, just choose the time that is most convenient for your schedule and we can have all of your kids evaluated at the same time. Please plan to come during one of the scheduled times:

• 6 & under: 4:45 - 5:45 pm
• 7 & 8 yr olds: 5:30 - 6:30 pm
• 9 & 10 yr olds: 6:15 - 7:15 pm
• 11 & up: 7:00 - 7:30 pm

First Day of Practice/Parent Meetings

The first day of practice will be Monday, April 29th! Have your child prepared for practice by having them dressed in their swimsuit and bring their goggles, a towel, water bottle, and sunscreen applied. Each swimmer will get their team swim cap this day. (Not to worry, for those of you new to swim, we have lots of experienced parents who can teach you the tricks to getting those caps on with ease!) During your child's practice, all parents will come into the amenity center to participate in a parent meeting where we will review a lot of in-depth information about the season, volunteering, meets, etc. Please make every effort to be at this meeting. If you have multiple children, you only need to attend one meeting.

Spirit Wear & Team Suits

We know it seems like forever ago that you ordered your team suits and spirit wear and that you are anxious to get it in your hands! The custom suits take longer than usual to produce and we get better pricing on spirit wear by ordering it in one big lump of product, so we appreciate your patience. Good news, though! Both the suits & spirit wear orders should arrive during the first week of practice for you to pick up at Williams Athletics. As soon we have an exact date, we will let you know! Remember that if you have not yet ordered your team suit, you can still do that! Please stop by Williams and place your order by April 20 to avoid rush shipping charges.

Weather Alerts

With the arrival of spring and summer comes the arrival of storms. We make every effort to avoid canceling practices at the last minute but it's bound to happen. The best way to make sure you are getting practice changes is to sign up for our RainedOut alerts.

Swim Meet RSVPs

It is never too early to RSVP for swim meets for the season! It's very easy to do when you are logged into the web site. There is a "how-to" document attached to this email in case you need some extra help.
