Good morning Dolphin families!

Attached are the results for our meet against the South Hampton Hurricanes. Great swimming by everyone on Saturday. The report provided by South Hampton provides specific information about why your swimmer was DQd. This is good information for your swimmer to use when working in the pool this week to tweak their form and technique. If your swimmer doesn't understand what the note means, have him or her ask a coach or junior coach to explain to understand how to fix it. DQ is just another way of saying "don't quit," you're still learning!

Upcoming Dates & Deadlines

• No swim meet on Saturday, June 16. Everyone sleeps in! 
• Normal practice schedule this week.
• Order your team photos by Friday, June 15th! We got a sneak peak of them and they are awesome! You can order them using this form. Payment via check or cash will be due when we distribute them. $5 per photo. No extras will be ordered. 
• RSVP for our June 23rd meet by this Friday, June 15th. June 23 will be our last home meet of the season and we're looking forward to a good competition against Bartram Springs.
• End-of-season banquet is Monday, July 16th. Mark your calendars!

Reminders & Requests

• Swimmers 12 and under are not permitted to be dropped off for practice. They must be accompanied by a responsible person age 13 or older.This can be a sibling, neighbor, parent, grandparent, babysitter, etc. No exceptions, please! 
• We love swimmers to show their Dolphin spirit by wearing their suits to the pool outside of practice! Please remind your swimmers that just as in any other sport, when they wear their suit they represent the team and should model good behavior.
• We are collecting photos for a slide show at the banquet. We know you are all taking awesome photos of your swimmers at meets and practices! Please share those photos with us by posting them to our FaceBook page or send them to [email protected].

And one final note...our swim team is run completely by volunteers and we are always looking for new parents to get involved. If you are interested in learning more about what opportunities might be available for next season, please let us know!
