Hello parents!
We are off to a great start to our season and we are so proud of the success our swimmers are already seeing in the water! 

A few things for you to be aware of:

• Each week your child may earn place ribbons or PR ribbons. The ribbon boxes will be available at practice on Wednesdays of the week following a Saturday meet. Please make sure your swimmer checks for their ribbons!
• This Saturday will be our first away meet of the season. We will be at South Hampton. We will distribute information regarding parking, tent city, and check-in/warm up times on Friday afternoon with the heat sheets. Please make sure you review all of that information in advance so you are prepared. Our arrival time and warm up time may shift from what we have when we have a home meet.
• This Friday morning, June 8th, we have a professional photographer coming to take a team photo. Please have your swimmers wear their team suit (or a plain black suit, if they don't have a team one) and come to the pool deck a few minutes before 8:00 on Friday morning. The team photo will be available for purchase online after we get it back from the photographer.
• As we learned yesterday, the season of afternoon thunderstorms is upon us! The very best way to stay up-to-date on any cancellations or adjust schedules is by subscribing to RainedOut, the text messaging service we use. Just text "dcdolphins" to 84483 to sign up. Also note that when the pool is closed due to lightning/thunder, we are no longer allowed to wait under the covered area on the pool deck.
