Hello parents!
What a great first day of practice we had yesterday! It was so fun to see new swimmers in the water and returning swimmers back for another great year of summer swim. The first few days of practice are always a little chaotic so we appreciate your patience as swimmers and families learn the routine. 

With the delayed start of the season due to the chilly weather, our mock meet is coming up very fast! Two weeks from yesterday, in fact, on Monday, May 14th! It is now time to RSVP for your swimmers to let us know whether or not they will be swimming in this meet. You must enter your swimmers in the Mock Meet by Sunday, May 6th. RSVPing for a meet is very easy. When you are logged into the site, go to the calendar page and find the green "Meet Entry Open" button next to the Mock Meet. Click that button and it's pretty intuitive from there. If you need additional instructions, you can find them here.

Because the Mock Meet is in the evening and a compressed meet format, we will be offering pre-order Chick-Fil-A to help make dinner easier for our families. This is only available as pre-order and no additional food or concession options will be available the night of the meet. Order your meals by Sunday, May 6th by filling out this online form. You will pay for the meals when you pick them up (cash or check only, please).

While you are RSVPing for the Mock Meet, go ahead and RSVP for our first home meet, scheduled for Saturday, May 19th. The RSVP deadline for that meet is Friday, May 11.

As always, your board stands ready to answer any and all questions you might have about the team, the season or swimming in general...just look for the orange lanyards on the pool deck! We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday afternoon for our next practices!
