    Stroke & Turning Training Clinics!

Stroke & Turn (S&T) Judges are a critical part of running a summer swim meet! These volunteers watch swimmers compete and determine if their strokes are "legal" or not. This process is an important part of a swimmers growth to help them learn to swim correctly, and it helps our coaches refine their coaching during the week as they can address consistent mistakes that might come up on a particular stroke.

In order to be certified as an S&T Judge, you must attend a league sponsored training session prior to the start of the season. Officials must attend training each year, even if they have attended in previous years. Training involves watching videos, reviewing the forms to be filled out during the meet and asking any questions you have about the strokes. All stroke & turn judges must also complete a background check.

You do not have to have any swim experience to be a S&T Judge! We welcome any interested parent to participate in this training. It's a great opportunity to learn more about the sport of swimming, and volunteering at a meet gains you an upfront seat for the action!

There is no cost to become certified as a S&T Judge and we are always in need of more judges! Please check out the upcoming dates for training on this SignUpGenius page and sign up to be trained for this years season!
